ALDA Attendance Guidelines
At ALDA, our goal is to create the most valuable experience possible for our members. The Senior Executive Conferences are designed to bring together leaders who share similar responsibilities and challenges, so every conversation is relevant and impactful.
Who Attends
The conferences are for:
- C-suite and full-time senior executive employees of ALDA member companies, directly involved in the daily strategic management of their organizations.
Who Does Not Attend
To keep the focus on executive-level peer discussions, we do not include:
- Exhibitors, sponsors, media, consultants, advisers, or analysts.
- Private equity, venture capital, or other investors.
- Board members of member companies*.
- Companies that don’t fit within ALDA’s Membership Guidelines**.
How We Keep It Consistent
Attendees must be full-time employees of ALDA member companies—something that is clear both on their business cards and in their professional profiles. This ensures a consistent, peer-to-peer environment across the entire meeting.
Why It Matters
These guidelines exist because the ALDA Board wants the conference to be the most valuable leadership event in our industry. By keeping the audience tightly focused, we:
- Ensure every conversation has value.
- Maintain a level playing field for all attendees.
- Uphold the standards of professionalism and collegiality that ALDA is known for.
Our Commitment
ALDA staff carefully review registrations to make sure we stay true to this vision. If a registration doesn’t quite fit the parameters, we’ll work directly with the company’s chief executive or primary contact to determine the best path forward.
We appreciate your support in helping us preserve what makes the ALDA Senior Executive Conferences such unique and rewarding experiences.
With questions, please contact Mike Copps, ALDA President & CEO.
*In select cases, board members of member companies who are former industry executives and are also former ALDA Board members are invited to attend.
**OEM Providers whose main business is supplying components or sub-assemblies to other ALDA members are limited to one C-suite attendee at ALDA conferences and dinners.
