2022 Annual Senior Executive Dinner
Directed to senior executives, especially those in the Bay area, our regional dinners present a great opportunity to connect with and stay in touch with other companies and top executives in an informal environment outside of ALDA’s semi-annual meetings. The dinners also present an opportunity to introduce members of your executive team who may not regularly attend our senior executive meetings to the ALDA network.
We are pleased that Dr. Stephen Quake, Professor of Bioengineering and Applied Physics at Stanford and Co-President of Chan Zuckerberg Biohub, will be the featured guest speaker at this year’s ALDA’s annual dinner. Dr. Quake was originally scheduled to speak at our 2020 Dinner in Menlo Park. Dr. Quake’s research is at the nexus of biology, physics and technology development. He has invented many measurement tools for biology, including new DNA sequencing technologies that have enabled rapid analysis of the human genome and microfluidic automation that allows scientists to efficiently isolate individual cells and decipher their genetic code.
Dr. Quake is also well known for his work inventing new diagnostic tools, including the first non-invasive prenatal test for Down syndrome and other aneuploidies. His innovations have helped to radically accelerate the pace of biology and have made medicine safer by replacing invasive biopsies with simple blood tests.
**Please note that you must notify ALDA of your cancellation by Wednesday, March 2 to receive a refund.
