The breakfast presents a great opportunity to meet and network with other senior executives from our members and invited guests attending the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) 2023 Conference and Exhibition in San Diego, CA.
In addition to presenting a great opportunity to meet and network with other ALDA member executives and a few key membership prospects attending SLAS, we also invite a guest speaker. We are pleased that Steve Rees, Vice President, Discovery Biology, Discovery Sciences, R&D at AstraZeneca as well as Dr Ian Storer, VP of Hit Discovery at AstraZeneca will be our guest speakers. Steve and Ian will share their views and insights on the future of drug discovery, how the drug discovery process has evolved—especially in recent years during the pandemic— and where it is likely to go in the future. They will also discuss trends in laboratory automation and applications, and the strategic implications for users and their suppliers.
